PEROCIN MARINE is mainly used as a component of varnish paints as a co-biocide / reinforcing biocide that enhances the efficacy of the primary biocide in reducing the colonization of biologically polluting organisms on the shell of objects, structures and vessels submerged in the marine environment.
After many years of use, "Perocin Marine" has proven to be a very effective addition to the main biocide in controlling the growth of biologically polluting organisms. In addition, the active substance is considered by many to be less harmful to the environment than alternative reinforcement biocides.
Dyes containing Perocin Marine for the prevention of biological pollution are applied on the surface of the sites for protection against the accumulation of water polluting organisms. This is achieved by the slow release of the active ingredient over time. These formulations are widely used on hulls, docks, fishing nets and buoys.
